I’m on God’s Side
28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
30 And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

I watched this show once about a guy that wanted to break the world record for dominos. He set up like 5 million of them. It took him and his team over a weak to set them up in the right place. When he finally knocked the first one down, it took several minutes for them all to fall down. There was just that many.
When it was all done, the dominos formed some well known works of art. It was amazing to watch. It was all the result of this one man’s vision. Even though we watching didn’t know what the finished product would look like, he did. Everyone working on the project did it with confidence because they knew that the man in charge knew what was going on.
Our life can be like this. When we give ourselves over to God’s control, we don’t have to worry about anything. Regardless of whatever changes we face, we can have faith that God knew about them, and has planned for them. We know that God is handling things. Even if we don’t know what’s going on, God does. Just like the Israelites in the lesson, we can be strong and courageous because God is on our side, and after all, if God is for us, who can be against us?

Are you letting God run the show? Do you trust Him to work everything out? Do you have faith that He knows what is going on?
It is not easy to let God have control, but if we do, then we know that nothing can ruin His plan. Pray that God will give you the strength to let God have complete control of your life.
